Who We Are

Beginning in early 2026, in partnership with the Service Year Alliance, SKF is launching "A Year to Serve, a Future to Build," a bold statewide initiative designed to build a sustainable, private-sector-led movement that leverages the strength of AmeriCorps Alums to address critical workforce challenges and ensure Kentuckians are workforce resilient for years to come.

"I carry my AmeriCorps service with me every day. The patience, creativity, and problem-solving I practiced while tutoring students now guide the way I support clients in navigating complex job tasks.

The commitment to service and community that AmeriCorps instilled in me shows up in how I collaborate with employers, advocate for client strengths, and stay grounded in compassion even on challenging days."
